Last July, Vogue editor France Sozzani stepped up and decided to create an issue of the magazine with all black models. Yup! I think I missed that. Anyway, Mr. Sozzani wanted to address the lack of color between the pages and overall view of beauty.
This year's July anniversary issue will not solely be dedicated to black models, but will have a dedication to black barbie dolls.
According to Vogue, Sozzani says "Barbie has been an icon for a whole generation which is why I really wanted to give strong sign in step with the times, and dedicate the anniversary issue to black barbie."

So what you think? Do you remember playing with black barbie?
